Every company says its technology is industry-leading and best in class – it would be concerning if they didn’t. As an example, here at Surfly, we truly believe we have the best co-browsing and video chat technology in the world.
But as much as we think that Surfly can help our customers to meet all their customers’ needs, we know we’re not the most objective judges. That’s why it’s super exciting to be recognized by someone outside our own team, and why we’re extremely proud to share this:
Our customer MS Amlin, has been selected as a finalist for the 2020 Tech and Innovation award by Insurance Times in the category “Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience.”
As described by Insurance Times, the Tech and Innovation Awards “…celebrate the very finest in UK general insurance technology and innovation – those outstanding initiatives, individuals and teams embracing emerging opportunities and leading the charge for a better customer experience in a rapidly changing space.” At Surfly, we are fanatical about enabling our customers to provide the best experience possible to their own customers with our co-browsing technology. And when we get to work with like-minded companies such as MS Amlin, great things happen.
A contributor to MS Amlin’s award entry was our own co-browsing and video chat technology which was used to help better service their customers, which was especially needed when COVID-19 restrictions made face-to-face communication difficult. MS Amlin’s insurance etrading platform (Countrywise) which has integrated Surfly’s co-browsing technology, helps to streamline the overall process for both agents and customers, greatly reducing the time it takes to get a quote and start a policy, as well as increasing customer satisfaction. One of the brokers using the platform said:
“It couldn’t have been easier – the system is perfect for when I have the client in front of me (or on the phone) since I can provide an immediate quotation easily and don’t need to waste time and effort by going elsewhere and waiting for a response.”
Although we haven’t won the award yet (we’ll know by September 17th), it’s a great honor to be recognized as the leading co-browsing technology in the insurance industry and to be working with amazing customers like MS Amlin. No matter the result, this is a big win for both of us!
