A quick introduction to our co-browsing technology
Surfly lets you add universal co-browsing features to any website, platform, or app. It’s incredibly simple. All you need is two people with a browser. No plugins or downloads needed. And these collaborative experiences are available on any device. But that’s just the start, really.
Make support journeys better with collaboration
Phone calls, chatbots, emails and screen sharing tools offer limited collaboration. With Surfly’s instant co-browsing, you can join users digitally as if you’re there in person, exactly where they need your help. Agents can even open tabs with multiple websites and documents in a single session.
Help prospects buy complex products remotely
When people buy something complex and expensive online - say insurance or a new car - they need help. Surfly lets you jump in at any point of a digital buying journey to offer better, faster customer service and sell more.
Setting up Surfly is simpler than you could ever imagine
Surfly’s technology uses proprietary, advanced proxy technology which enables you to transform any web interaction without changing the original application. Here’s how:
Step 1
Step 1
Enter a URL to get started
You don’t have to make any changes to the target website in order to make it collaborative. Simply load the page, copy the resulting Surfly link and share it to start co-browsing with a user, customer or prospect.
Step 2
Step 2
Users join the session
Your users don’t need to download any plugins or set up anything themselves. You can even share the Surfly link with multiple users, who can all join the collaborative session, from any device they prefer.
Step 3
Step 3
Start co-browsing together
It’s as simple as that. The entire web interaction is now shared. You can mask certain fields in any style you’d like, annotate, toggle control between agent and user, add video and more. Rendered in the highest quality.
Step 4
Step 4
Or build your own workflows
Surfly integrates with popular chat widget providers like Intercom, Salesforce and others. Build co-browsing workflows that match your current setup. Let users start co-browsing sessions and join them exactly where they are.
“Surfly has allowed us to provide excellent customer service. The time an agent needs to guide the customer has reduced, and the efficiency and client satisfaction have increased significantly.”

Video call
Video calls enable multiple users to connect face-to-face and provide a personal touch.
E-signatures
Allow participants to sign contracts by creating a signature and dragging-and-dropping it into place. Fully compliant with XFDF standards.
Website or app integration
Stop relying on Zoom or Teams and add collaboration to your own website or application.
Audit logs
Keep a log of session events to monitor actions all while meeting relevant security and compliance standards.
Field and element masking
Field masking easily hides sensitive customer data in form fields through HTML tags. Or hide entire HTML elements through the CSS selector.

Embeddable tools work by adding a piece of JavaScript code to your web pages. Functionality added this way is limited and applies to the amended pages only. Our technology is fundamentally different - it works everywhere.
You can go anywhere with no reduction in features, no workarounds, and no change in experience. All of this can be achieved without adding a single line of code, with Surfly.
Pixel based co-bowsing is essentially a video stream and therefore suffers all the latency problems that come with it. Video is also fixed - you can't change anything as it's streamed. Surfly shares web content - not pixels.
Surfly's univeral co-browsing is lightweight and rendered locally by each participant, giving a faster experience with way more control and countless of possibilities for creating collaborative journeys.
Screen sharing is powered by WebRTC, which is essentially a video stream. That's why screen sharing is the same thing as pixel based co-browsing, which is completely different from what Surfly offers.
Surfly differs both in its quality of actual the co-browsing experience as well as its ability to serve different use cases - Surfly offers vastly more possibilities.
Surfly's webhooks and APIs are available to all customers. Read more about using webhooks with Surfly here.

You can see all regions currently supported in our public cloud here. Every server location is available for use by all customers on our public cloud deployment.
